Tiger???? Growl.....

Ok, ok. I keep asking this question: WHY DO I CARE ABOUT TIGER WOODS? I mean come on. Its not like he is the ONLY guy that has ever done this. Not that I am excusing it, but it happens every day in a week. The only people that should care about this is Tiger, his wife, children, and.....I guess that's it.

Now we know the rag mags and tabloid TV (Access Hollywood, The Insider, Inside Editon) will cover this, that gives them something to do, however when I see this on the WORLD NEWS? I mean are we not going through a war, economy challenges, and other counteless issues. I mean this is personal private matter. If Randy Watson from 3rd Steet cheated on his wife, would he lose his job? Tiger has never been or asked to be our moral leader. HE PLAYS GOLF!! HE PLAYS GOLF!!! Now if the golf ball hit someone in the face, then maybe that would be news.

Please...lets focus our attentions elsewhere.

Rude People Suck

So I was at the post office today after a long day at work. I do not advocate or recommend anyone going to the post office at 4 in the afternoon, but today this could not be avoided. There was very limited parking with people in line with their cars waiting to go inside for whatever reason. So..I am one of those people waiting to get a parking spot, when this douchebag (sorry had to go there) gets in his car and rather than be considerate and go ahead and pull out of the spot and go on about his day, decides to start a conversation on his cell phone!! What is up w/ people and their cell phones? Do they have to be so much into a conversation that they have to be oblivious to everything around them. Can someone help me out with this? I was steamed. 

The Good Old Days

So I am sitting here on my couch listening to some vintage Phyllis Hyman and wondering.."where in the hell did the all the good times go?" I mean I am like I was just thinking you just don't see the following anymore:

Good songwriting teams such as Ashford & Simpson, L.A & Babyface, Mtume & Lucas
Bands: Atlantic Starr, Cameo, Rufus, Etc.
Duos: Rene & Angela, Marvin & Tami, Donny & Roberta, Cherelle & Alexander.
Kids who do not talk back. (more on that later).

I do miss the care free days of youth as a teenager. Things have changed so much since I was in high school. There seems like no respect for anything anymore. Kids are just so hell bent on talking back and having the last word. I could not imagine talking to adults like people talk to adults now....and I am even an adult. I just could not talk to some of my elders the way some of these kids do.

Whats Up With People?

I am thinking, what is up with people? I am watching the news, and there is this ridiculous story about a woman with 50 cats in her apartment? Can you imagine what her tiny apartment smells like? Can you imagine?? What in the heck do you need with 50 cats? One is enough...cats are sneaky animals (meow). Anyway on the flip of that...there was this dude who got in trouble for duct taping an entire cat. He wraps the cat in duct tape. WHAT DA HELL?? What is wrong w/ people?

Thinking back to the cats, this is why I am not big on pot luck dinners. You never know how many people have situations like this. Hard to imagine eating cheesecake and finding cat hair on it. You never know .....
